The smart house center is based on Z-Wave and Zigbee, and can be connected to hundreds of smart devices from a number of suppliers:
Futurehome Smarthub runs one of the market’s most advanced software and is built on industry-leading IoT infrastructure with optimal use of local and cloud processing, which allows for a number of exciting functions.
Futurehome app
The Futurehome app is required to set up and use the Smarthub. With the Futurehome app, you can easily control everything from lighting and heating to electronic locks or other devices connected to your smart home, from wherever you are in the world.
With Futurehome Smarthub you can set up and define four main modes; home, night, work or holiday.
You can decide for yourself what will happen if you activate the various modes. For example, you can define that all the lights are to be switched off and that the doors are locked if you activate “night” or that the temperature is lowered, the doors are locked and the coffee maker is switched off if you activate “work”. Thus, one can tailor the modes to suit you and your preferences.
Time management
The smart hub also provides the option to set time management on compatible devices. For example, you can define that the outdoor lights should automatically switch on at 23.00 or that the panel oven should automatically switch on at 06.00.
The smart hub also contains an astro clock, which means that you can, for example, define that the lights are automatically switched on or off at sunrise or sunset.
Smart notifications
Futurehome Smarthub opens up the option of receiving notifications for events related to the connected devices. You can define which events you want to be notified about in the settings in the Futurehome app. If you have current and compatible devices connected, you can receive notifications when:
A fire has been detected
A water leak is detected
Motion is detected when no one is home
The temperature in some rooms is unnaturally high or low
Automation
The Futurehome app also offers the option of setting up triggers for automating connected devices. For example, you can set up a trigger for lighting when there is movement in the room, if you have a motion sensor and lighting that is compatible with Futurehome Smarthub. Triggers for automation can be set up under settings in the Futurehome app.
